Hi!

I’m not quite sure where to start this but here we go! I love to craft and so I am starting Craft Projects for Adults as a place to share all kinds of crafts. I hope to share sewing, jewelry, Cricut, painting, and more here with you all!

I am not an expert. I just love to try things and I want to share what I learn as I go about trying new things. My hope is that what I share here will inspire you and encourage you.

To me creating is about enjoying the process of creating, not about having a perfect product. Very often the idea of perfection keeps us from trying something new, something that we would really enjoy. Don’t let that fear of imperfection keep you from trying and enjoying something new.

There’s a quote by Mr. Rogers that I feel sums up this perspective about creating for the joy of creating rather than creating only for perfection.

Do you like to draw with crayons? I’m not very good at it. But it doesn’t matter. It’s the fun of doing it that’s important. Now, I would’t have made that if I just thought about it. No matter how anybody says it is. It feels good to have made something. The best thing is that each person’s would be different. In a way, you’ve already won in this world because you’re the only one who can be you. And that’s the way it’s suppose to be.
